Book tip November 2019: Green Kitchen at Home by David Frenkiel and Luise Vindahl

I recently went to visit de Boekenbeurs in Belgium, which is a big annual book fair in Antwerp. Every year, since 1932, this book fair features displays from all kinds of publishers and authors (you can get your books signed too by many of them). In recent years the amount of cook books on display have grown significantly so I was super excited to go and discover some new books – even though I quite literally have 0 space in my suitcase. I wrote down a few titles to buy when I get back to Ireland and of those titles is my book tip for November: Green Kitchen at Home by David Frenkiel and Luise Vindahl.

It is actually quite funny as my previous blog name was Tine at Home, so I was drawn to the name right away. The book is very colourful and has so many yummy looking and original vegetarian recipes! As you know I try to live a balanced life without limiting myself to a specific diet so I’ll eat meat, poulty & fish but also vegetarian and vegan meals. It can be quite challenging to come up with original and flavourful vegetarian creations though so I’m always on the look for cookbooks that can help inspire me. Green Kitchen at Home is just that. But what’s more is that in addition to providing you with great vegetarian recipes, it also features recipes for batch cooking – which can make some people’s lives much easier.
