Smoked salmon roll-ups with North Sea shrimp, sour cream and fish eggs

Smoked salmon roll-ups with brown shrimp, sour cream and fish eggs

As we all know, this time of year is filled with family gatherings.. and lots of stressed out people trying to find out great courses to serve their loved ones.

To make things easer, I’ve come up with a few easy to make appetizers that will surely impress your family! The first appetizers are these smoked salmon roll-ups, you don’t need a lot of ingredients to make it, and it’s done in no time!

Makes: 30 roll-ups

Ingredients

  • 200 g smoked salmon (cut up)
  • 100 g peeled brown shrimp
  • 10 cl sour cream
  • 10 g fish eggs (I used lumpfish eggs)

Preparation
Slice the smoked salmon in strips of 2 cm high and 10 cm wide. Put some of the shrimp on the first 2 cm of the salmon. Roll the salmon up carefully and put the roll-up on a spoon. Now top it off with a bit of sour cream and some fish eggs.

Try not to put too much shrimp in the salmon, cause it will make it more difficult to roll it up and cause it to break! Also try not to make the roll-ups too high, cause you really don’t want to make it hard on your guests to eat it.

Anyway, there you go, an easy but very elegant appetizer!
