Ok I swear this is the last Christmas throwback recipe I’m going to post! This recipe is something that I came up with for the Christmas day party with my dad’s entire family. My mom had made a list of appetizers she was going to make but she needed just one more appetizer, which I took upon me to make. These goat cheese & sour cream verrines with chives, crab sticks and crayfish is so easy to make and it doesn’t require an oven or anything special so you can just make this 5 minutes before serving, it’s absolutely perfect if you want a stress free appetizer!
Serves: 20 people
- 150g goat cheese
- 20cl sour cream
- 3 tablespoons of chopped up chives
- 125g crayfish
- 100g crab sticks
- pepper and salt
Needed: 20 small glasses of about 3,5cm wide and 5,5cm tall
This will probably be the shortest preparation I’ve ever written, cause all you need to do is add the goat cheese to the sour cream, mix it all together with a spoon, add the chives and about 4 grinds of salt and 8 grinds of pepper. Fill a couple of teaspoons of this into each small glass, just a little under half the glass should be filled up. Chop up the crayfish and crab sticks and fill up the second half of each glass with it. If you have any chives left, you can just sprinkle a couple more on top and that’s it!
